Now taking bookings for the 2027 season. The first CourseSide days go out in spring. Hold a date →

How it works

One day, start to finish.

From a date in the diary to a replay on every phone. Follow the line: everything the organiser, the players and the sponsors do, and where we come in.

Part one

Before the day

From first conversation to the week of the event

Six weeks out

It starts with a date

  • OrganiserTells us about the day. The venue, the cause, roughly how many players.
  • CourseSideA short call, a written plan, and the date held for the season.

A month out

The day gets built

  • CourseSideYour course, drawn for the broadcast. Map and format set, and the holes picked for the side games: nearest the pin, longest drive.
  • OrganiserSigns off the running order without leaving the day job.

Three weeks out

Sponsors take their holes

  • SponsorsEach partner gets a hole. The flagship takes longest drive, logos go onto the boards and into the broadcast.
  • OrganiserSells the holes with something real to show: the screens their money appears on.

The week of

Teams, tee times, tags

  • OrganiserSends the player list. Fourballs, tee order and team names fall into place.
  • CourseSideKit arrives ready: GPS tags labelled by group, nothing for the venue to install.
Part two

On the day

The order of the day, first tee to final putt

Before anyone arrives

The course wakes up wired

  • CourseSideWe set the day up. The receiver network goes up around the course, tags go onto the flag sticks for nearest the pin, and the longest drive markers are set.

As everyone arrives

Tags out at the first tee

  • PlayersPick up a tag with the scorecard. Clip it on and forget it.
  • CourseSideWe check each group away in the Control Centre. The running of the day is ours.
  • OrganiserFree to enjoy the morning they organised. Guests, sponsors, the first-tee buzz; not a clipboard in sight.

Before the first tee

Live before a ball is hit

  • PlayersThe field assembles on the screen. Teams appear as they join, and every tag pops up at the clubhouse the moment it clips on.
  • CourseSideThe ticker warms up on the field: who is carrying a team off scratch, who never packs enough balls. The room is talking before the first group is away.

The first groups away

The map starts to move

  • CourseSideDots leave the clubhouse and the broadcast is on. Every group on the course map, standings, side games, the ticker.
  • At homeA follow link goes out. Anyone can watch from anywhere.
The clubhouse hub on the big screen: the live course map filling the display, every group shown where they are, with the standings rail and the side competition boards down one side.

All morning

Scores in, moments out

  • PlayersOne player per group keeps the card in the app. Strokes, putts, sand, penalties. The team's best two count themselves.
  • CourseSideEvery entry redraws the boards and feeds the ticker.

Through the day

Sponsors on every screen

  • SponsorsOn the boards all day. The flagship hole mints its own drama: a longest drive claim survives 38 minutes, then falls.
  • PlayersClaim it at the marker, in the app, on the spot.
The CourseSide players' app on a phone, showing the whole group's card for a hole: strokes, putts, bunkers and penalties for all four players, each player's Stableford points and the team's best two counting.
The CourseSide players' app on a phone, showing a longest drive claim in range of the marker and ready to confirm.

All day

Followed from anywhere

  • At homePartners, colleagues, the club bar. The day carries on wherever it is opened.
  • SponsorsReach past the venue, on every screen the day travels to.
A CourseSide golf day followed in a web browser from an office: the course map, the standings and the rolling ticker of what is happening out on the course.

The close

The last cards come home

  • PlayersTwo cards still out, the lead in reach of both. Snatch it at the last or fall a putt short; the board shows it coming either way.
  • OrganiserWatches the clubhouse empty onto the last green. People leave the bar to see a putt drop. That does not happen at an ordinary golf day.
Part three

After the day

The evening, and the season after

Back in the room

Presentation, from the big screen

  • OrganiserReads the results off the Hub and hands over the prizes. No envelopes, no disputes; the room watched it happen.
  • SponsorsTheir brand stays on the screen, behind every handshake and photo.

That evening

The day lands again

  • PlayersEvery player gets their round back. Your Day, Afterwards: the walk, the scores, the moments, straight to their phone.
  • SponsorsRide along in every report that gets passed round the group chat.
A player's personal round report on a phone the evening after a golf day: their scores, how they moved through the field, their stats and a replay of their walk.

The morning after

The follow-up

  • OrganiserWakes up to the day in numbers. What was raised, what was claimed, who to thank.
  • CourseSideOne more short call: what worked, and a date held for next season.

What's next

The parts we are building next

The day above is the product. These are the pieces coming behind it.

Coming soon

Course cameras

Camera stations on the holes that mint the drama. Watch the flagship holes live on the big screen and the follow link, with the moments clipped for the evening's report.

On the roadmap

The season platform

For tours and series: player profiles, rankings, season statistics and an Order of Merit that carries from leg to leg. Every leg a live day, and the season its own story.
